Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How does your service work?

A: I offer two main services. One is a simple meal prep, where you buy the groceries and my chefs come to your house to do your meal prep from a list of instructions that you leave. The other is a custom weekly personal chef service where I or my chefs plan your menu, do all the grocery shopping, and work in your kitchen to prepare several ready-made meals with sides, and leave them in your fridge.

Q: How much does your service cost?

A: Please check my website drop down menu under “packages” and you will find pricing information there. Send me an inquiry through my web site and I can get back to you with an estimate.

Q: Can I hire you for events or dinner parties?

A: I don’t often cook for dinner parties, as I prefer to focus on weekly meal service. However, I have done so on occasion. If after reading my web site you are convinced I am the right person for your event, send me a message. I am best able to provide family style meals or a buffet style serving and I would require that I work in a kitchen that is already stocked with cooking and cleaning equipment and that you have the number of place settings / table ware for the number of people in your party.

Q: I would like to purchase your personal chef service as a gift for a friend or for my elderly parents, would you be able to do that?

A. In my experience, it doesn’t work that well if the person receiving the service is not the person paying for it. There can be a lot of back-and-forth regarding dietary requirements, menu approval, and making sure the kitchen is prepared. In other words, the person whose kitchen I am working in will need to answer my messages in a timely fashion and also be able to clean and prepare the kitchen space for my cook day to avoid extra charges to you. If you still think this will work out for you and you want to inquire, then please send me a message and I would love to be able to help you out.
